Medical check-up

The purpose of a preventive medical check-up is early detection of diseases and to avoid risk factors. It is for free once per year and addresses all persons from the age of 18.

The check-up includes a detailed anamnesis and life style analysis, as well as a comprehensive clinical examination of your body. In addition, blood is taken to test it for the red blood cell count (in women), blood sugar, cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, GGT (liver values), and urine is tested as well.

From the age of 50 a faecal occult blood test is made to detect hidden blood in the faeces.
In women also a cancer smear (PAP) test at the gynaecologist is provided.

In a final consultation you will be informed about the examination results and will obtain advice for a healthy life style and how to minimise risk factors.
